Join our first community consultation event

Proposals for HyClyde Auchentoshan are being put forward by Marubeni Europower and Suntory Global Spirits for the design, construction, installation and operation of a small-scale hydrogen plant near the distillery site.  Representing up to £60 million of investment for the local area, more than 130 jobs throughout the construction phase will be created with a further boost expected for local supply chains. Excitingly, it would also make Auchentoshan one of the first distilleries in Scotland to be powered by green hydrogen.

Local people are invited to learn more about proposals at an upcoming two-stage community consultation. The first event will take place on:

  • Date: 22 August 2024
  • Time: 12-7pm
  • Location: Auchentoshan Distillery, Great Western Road, Clydebank, G81 4SJ

On the day, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with members of the project team, ask questions and importantly, share their feedback.

For any questions you have in advance or to contact the project team, please email HyClyde@bigpartnership.co.uk or call 0141 648 5806.
